University of Benin (UNIBEN)
Research at UNIBEN will be carried out at the Teaching Hospital Microbiology Research Laboratory and in several biomedical departments at the university. One area of active research involves investigations on multi-antibiotic resistant bacteria associated with HIV patients. MHIRT students also conduct research on sickle cell anemia, parasitic diseases endemic in the region, hypertension and other physiological diseases. Dr. Broderick Eribo sponsors research at this site.
Obafemi Awolowo University
